In April 2006, the first provincial college students' innovative center: SEU college students' innovative center established in the SEU Science Park. In October 2010, this center became one of the first 66 college student technology entrepreneurship practice bases accredited by the ministry of science and technology and the ministry of education. In 2012, the center became entrepreneurial university students’ demonstration base in Jiangsu Province accredited by the ministry of education. Now this center has expanded to 7800 square meters with six parts, which is established separately in Changjianghoujie Branch Park, Qixia Branch Park, Jianye Branch Park, Xiaguan Branch Park, Jiangning Branch Park and Gaoxin Branch Park.
With the support of the Communist Youth League, work department, research and Industry of SEU and SEU Science Park, Students' innovative entrepreneurship center has continued to improve the management system and operation mechanism, actively use school and community resources to help college students achieve interaction between the combination of theoretical knowledge and the promotion of social practice .From now on, it has cultivated Lin Jiaxi of Guojin corporation, Yu Dunde of Tuniu corporation, Xu Yizheng of Bangning corporation , Feng hongxing of Hai Shanda corporation, and so on. Students' innovative entrepreneurship center has formed the building characteristics of “active service, comprehensive support, school-enterprise collaboration, innovation encouragement, nurturing talent, service economy”.
In June 2013, SEU Science Park and Nanjing zijin technology business Co., Ltd. combined together to set up seusp - zijin kechuang funds, which has invested 3 million Yuan especially for the Southeast University students’ venture funds. In addition, SEU Science Park has also hired Venture tutors for college students and young business mentors, in order to make students undertake success according to the characteristics of the stages of the entrepreneurial process.
In order to conform to “Public entrepreneurship and innovation”, SEU Science Park has built” Entrepreneurial Belt of Metro Line 3” in 2015. We have built six different maker spaces as Entrepreneurial valley in every six branch park, which is very close to Metro Line 3 characteristically.
